UK Telecoms Golf Open – Tony Bradshaw Cup

After a fiercely competitive two leg tournament, with the second instalment concluding on Friday at the beautiful Arden Course, Forest of Arden, it was terrific to see father and son pairing Alan and Grant Penman from WFS Telecom take the honours for this inaugural event and claim the Tony Bradshaw Cup. Well done and thanks to all those who attended over both legs and we look forward to seeing you to do it all again in 2018.

New Offices for Construction Division

To assist with the steady growth of its Construction and Installation arm, Sitec have relocated this division to larger and more functional offices in Surrey.

Podium Place for Our Dragon Boat Team

Despite the rather disparate and inexperienced nature of our team, what a fantastic achievement to see Sitec’s Dragon Boaters battle through the other 47 competitors and finish in a lofty third place. Well done guys

 

UK Telecoms Golf Open

Sitec in conjunction with Walker, Fraser & Steele, were delighted to host the first leg of the UK Telecoms Golf Open held at Temple Golf Club. A fantastic day was had and keenly competitive golf was played over five four-ball matches. All those who played from across the industry, are now looking forward to the second leg which is being played at Arden Course, Forest of Arden in September, when the award of the inaugural Tony Bradshaw Cup will take place.

Sitec Lighting Up High Speed Connections

Sitec’s fixed line teams have now installed and commissioned over 20 buildings in East Anglia and our support to our client continues apace as we target greater numbers of installs over the coming months. Furthermore we continue to develop and expand our Wayleave Team  to support the ever growing demand for high speed connectivity.

SITEC opens new Cambridge Headquarters

Sitec has invested in a new Headquarters in Cambridge Research Park – a sign of our ongoing expansion and commitment to our valued client base.

Adam Eatock, Director said: “The new 5000 sqft office space, surrounded by a lake and with views of a nature reserve, has helped us offer a better working environment.  We had totally filled our previous office through our expansion and it’s looking like we’ll rapidly fill the new one too!  Our aim is to attract the very best resource so we can continue to deliver in this challenging and exciting market place and our new HQ provides the ideal investment to encourage and retain such talent.”

Huawei Growth Supporting EE’s ESN Deployment


Last December, UK operator EE won a substantial contract from the government to provide 4G for the country’s emergency services and Sitec are actively supporting this in both the upgrade of existing sites to support the 4G technology, alongside the building of power and transmission resilience in to these sites. Chris Jones, Construction Director says: “The first half of 2017 will be pivotal in securing the commitment to ensure sufficient network coverage is deployed by September 2017; we have built a strong team to support and deliver this project and will continue to invest heavily to ensure we meet our clients timescales.”

EXPANSION OF SITEC FIXED DIVISION – FTTX Installations Underway

Sitec are commencing the planning and installation of high speed fibre into multiple dwelling units in the south-east. David Hawthorne, Director says: “We are delighted to have expanded our business in to this very exciting market place and where we see strong synergies with our other core activities in the wireless market. We are continuing to invest further to ensure we can deliver next year’s numbers and we relish the challenges ahead of us.”
